Visitation:
Students are allowed to visit the library during library time as well as any other open time with a library pass from their teachers.
Students are responsible for returning their books on time. As you know our school library caters to students of all grades. The library has made significant efforts to classify books using a combination of book-level and content to categorize books into age appropriate categories. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the parent to verify the content of the books checked out by your students is appropriate for them to read. We appreciate your assistance in this area.
Fines: There will be a $.50 per week charge for books one week overdue, not to exceed the value of the overdue book. Damaged books will be assessed a percentage of the replacement or repair cost. Patrons will be responsible for paying the replacement cost of their lost books. Replacement value varies per book depending on the quality/type the library had inventoried. Arrangements for payment of lost or damaged books need to be made through the front office. Late fines paid in cash may be paid to the library.
